Since retiring six years ago, Janet has devoted a great deal of her time to creating her own art. Her mother Mavis, sister Margaret, and brother Ian continue to inspire and encourage her artistic endeavours as they are all painters. Her parents taught her to appreciate the beauty of nature at an early age. Her husband Dave is her strongest supporter and ‘best’ critic.
Artist Statement: I paint because I love to play with colours. It brings me hours of pure pleasure. Painting seems to be the ideal way to express my appreciation of nature.
