Judi was born in Winnipeg and raised in Langley B.C.  She was recognized for her aptitude for art at an early age acquiring A+ marks in High School art classes.  In 1967, she moved to Salmon Arm and belonged to the Salmon Arm Art Club and worked til 2004 in flower shops creatively using flowers as her medium.  When she retired in 2004, she took up art again (self taught) getting inspiration from other artists and the beautiful surroundings around her.  Judy paints in Pen and Ink, Acrylics, Pastels, Watercolours and is also known for her award winning photography.    In 2016, Judy won the Linda Becker Memorial Award for her painting “Moon Over the South Thompson River”.

Judy now lives in Blind Bay and is a member of the Blind Bay Painters.
