Pat Taylor’s Art

Pat Taylor’s Art

Pat Taylor is a local artist who paints by the shores of Shuswap Lake.  Her work features pieces in oil, watercolour, and acrylic and can be found worldwide.  Growing up on Okanagan Lake and having a passion for long distance horse racing, Pat has drawn inspiration from much of her life experiences.  From hours of riding alone in the backcountry, she is able to capture the isolation of a cowboy life in her luminescent skies.

Following her passion, Pat has been fortunate to work with several world renowned artists.  Graham Flatt inspired in her a love affair with watercolours, John Einerssen introduced her to the wonder of oil painting, and Terry Issac influenced her love of painting animals.    Pat can be found sitting in front of a roaring fire spending long winter days painting at her home and gallery the “Gallery at the Beach”.  She strives to continually learn and hone her craft in hopes that her ability will catch up with her imagination!
