As a brand new painter, I was thrilled to hear a very accomplished artist tell me that I was intuitive.  As I have progressed in my painting I believe that is true.  I ‘see’ possibilities, like a shadow or a shape in the grounds or gesso that I have applied to the canvas.  Most times I paint scene out of my memory, a time past.  Sometimes I see a picture I get excited about and as  my painting progresses it looks nothing like the original at all.

Born and raised in Salmon Arm, returned to retire in beautiful Blind Bay.  Belonging to the Blind Bay Painters group has greatly contributed to my growth.
