Inspired by glass shimmer and transparency of glass, Diana uses this exciting medium to create everything from stained glass windows and lamps to intricate jewelry and sculptural mosaics. She recently has started using glass mosaics calling her works “painting with glass”. She is a member of the Blind Bay Painters and works also with acrylic ink. Diana works and teaches out the Grasby Art Studio in Calgary in the winter, as well as in her home studio in Bind Bay, B.C. You can see Diana’s work at Grasby Art Studio, Reworks Studio in Calgary.
Diana has received many awards for her efforts. In 2007, Diana received the Patterson Award at the Shuswap Festival of Arts, received People’s Choice Awards every year since. In the past, she has receive the Peoples Choice Award for three consecutive years at the Calgary Stampede.
