The Shuswap area has a number of artisan markets that occur in November and December just in time for that special gift you need for a dear friend, family both here and afar, and even for yourself (just in case Santa forgets!). With the wide range of artists and artisans within the Shuswap region, gifts can range from hand made apparel, beautiful original paintings, fibre art, handmade soaps, woodwork, ornaments, jewelry, and the popular repurposed items, where used throwaway items are refurbished to create something beautiful again.
